Affiliate Disclosure

Draft disclosure for MasaDeals. This page is a working draft and has not been reviewed by legal counsel.

The short version

Links may be affiliate links that pay MasaDeals a commission. Ranking is never influenced by commission.

How affiliate links work here

Outbound merchant links on this site and in MasaDeals API and MCP responses may be affiliate links. If a shopper follows one and makes a purchase, the merchant or its affiliate network may pay MasaDeals a commission at no extra cost to the shopper. Links that carry affiliate tracking are marked as tracked in API/MCP responses (link_tracked).

The ranking guardrail

Codes are ranked by verified success, never by commission. Commission rates, where known, are stored for reporting only and are never read by the ranking logic. A higher-paying code does not rank higher, is not labelled verified any sooner, and is not served in preference to a better-verified code. If no code clears the verification bar, MasaDeals returns its certified negative — no_verified_code — even when a paying link could have been served instead.

Why we disclose this

Agents act on this feed automatically, so the incentive structure has to be unambiguous: MasaDeals earns money when a link it served leads to a purchase, and its rankings must be trustworthy anyway. This disclosure states that conflict plainly and the guardrail above is how it is resolved.
